While I was reading this blog I just could remember all the ignorant statments I heard people say in regards to lesbians and feminism. I feel as though this blog was much needed to let people know that all misconceptions about lesbians. Hopefully, this opened people to the fact that lesbians are just humans.

I also REALLY like your blog. This blog really sparked something for me because I can remember growing up and being ashamed that my hair was natural. In middle and high school when you are trying to get the attntion of boys, I can remember feeling as though I wasn't as attractive to guys because my hair was kinky while my friends had straight hair and received a lot of attention. I totally agree a male should not use hair as a way to decide whether a female is attractive. If anything he should find the confidence that a female has about her hair attractive. Coming to Howard and seeing this wave of embracing your natural hair has inspired me to go natural again! I am loving all the afros, dreads, etc. Basically, I Am Not My Hair!

I am always back and forth on this health binge. For a while I will do well with eating the "right" foods meaning organic foods and just making healthier choices. But, after a while I can have a little piece of cake and it will just go doen hill from there. Meaning that I will begin to eat all the "wrong" foods for my body. I feel as though I need to be more consistent and try to continue eating better, incorporating more vegetables and fruits in my diet and less fatty foods.

This is VERY true!! I am not a big proponent of fast foods, but I find myself going to McDonalds a good three plus times! I have been to Mickey D's in these last 9 months more times than in my life. While in college you stay up all night and since McDonald's stays open until 3am it seems like the perfect place to receive a quit bite to eat on a budget. But McDonald's is the quickest way to obesity and should be avoided at all costs.

I totally agree! This is a problem! I had the same issue registering for housing. I was able to pick housing on the 1st day and as I logged in at 8:45 to get the housing of my choice, BisonWeb shut down and the housing I wanted was gone by 9:04. I feel as though Howard should be more organized. I mean they know that by 9:00 many people will be online so they need a better system!
